sunday night beauty routine.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that Connor and I enjoy partaking in series of masks on Sunday nights. It's become a sort of ritual for us, and definitely symbols the start of the new week. It's a great way to treat our skin well, and enjoy a relaxing evening. I've received a few questions about what we use, so I linked it all below including how we use every product. Some of these products are pricier, but most last a couple of months.
Connor and I start the process by washing our face with our every-day face wash. It's a Vitamin C wash, so it makes our skin feel clean without being drying. Depending on the week, we might use our Clarisonic with the gel wash. Next, we'll use the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. We each like to keep this on for about 10 minutes. The first few times we used it, we could barely keep it on for 2 minutes. It definitely has a burn-so-good feel to it. The next step is optional, but this sheet mask is EVERYTHING. You have to try it; it's my favorite. If I'm facing some breakouts or have worn tons of makeup that week, I'll use this mask. You put the the mask on, and it bubbles and turns completely white when it's ready to take off. When it's all white, you take off the mask and continue to rub the solution into your face. I like to rub it in until it looks and feels like shaving cream. After that, we use the Origins Charcoal Mask. This is a great mask to remove impurities. We keep it on until it's completely dry. We each take off with a lukewarm face cloth, then use the Fresh Rose Toner. We use the toner to make sure we don't have any mask residue on our face. After that, we'll end with the Andalou Sheet Mask. We switch up between the hydrating and the brightening. We leave on for about an hour while we watch a show.
The whole process takes about 2 hours, but half of it is while we're watching a show with the sheet mask on. We'll do our Sunday night activities like packing lunches, ironing clothes, etc. while we do the first part.
I hope that helps! If you have questions, leave them below.
