Happy Friday, friends. I've been battling that cold that seems to be going around Chicago which means it's been a week of rest and lots of reading.
I'm almost half way through my reading challenge for the year, so that feels good since we are just about half way through the year. One of the requirements was to read a book you've read before. I opted to reread The Sun Also Rises which was required reading for me in high school. I HATED the booked in high school, and I'm pretty sure it took me a whole semester to finish. While I'm not in love with the book now, I can appreciate it's little quirks, and see why it might have been a required book for me as a teenager. Curious to know what I'm always reading? Follow me over on Good Reads.
Last weekend, Connor and I celebrated five years of dating! It's crazy how fast time flies. We opted to try a new place for brunch, and totally fell in love with the food and decor at Eden. The weather was PERFECT on Sunday, so we scooted around the city, and even popped by Garfield Park to see the goats! Definitely a great way to celebrate our anniversary.
